Sustainable Cuisine
Wilderness Bound Provisions is committed to a connection with the outdoors and donates 2% of all revenue to Protect Our Winters, a local nonprofit for fighting climate change.
About Us
As connected to the outdoors as food itself, we will make every possible effort to use only sustainably and ethically sourced seafoods, meats and dairy; partnering with local growers and ranchers to procure only the most fresh and local seasonal ingredients. Wilderness Bound Provisions will participate in recycling all packaging, and composting all food waste in partnership with the High Country Conservation Center.
Chef Nick Leo was born with Italian and Creole heritage and proud Texan roots. He started cooking at an early age, with vivid memories of pulling up a chair next to Momma Dot’s antique stove and cooking with cast iron. Having now lived in Summit County Colorado for over 6 years, the outdoors and food have been intertwined with the passions of his life. When not cooking Chef Nick is active in mountain sports ranging from mountain biking, rock climbing, skiing, and rafting. Often described as a nerd for gear, try not to get him started on recommendations.
