Wilderness Bound Provisions works hard to source ingredients from local and sustainable sources, as well as participating in the High Country Conservation Center’s recycling and composting programs. Wilderness Bound Provisions also donates a percentage of profits to Protect Our Winters – a local non-profit that focuses its efforts on legislation regarding climate change and Feeding Colorado – a network of food banks across Colorado.

Food was amazing and convenience is huge. I was in town with my girlfriend and we wanted to do something intimate for our getaway, this blew us away. I work in hospitality and like to think I know what I’m talking about with upscale service. This was exceptional. The food was delicious and the company made the night. We contacted Chef Nick about cooking a private meal during our stay in Breckenridge over Christmas. He was nothing short of outstanding. Super friendly and very easy going with our party. You can tell that he truly has a passion for people...but most importantly for food! Additionally, he was very responsive and accommodating with his menu (we had two young kids, his spaghetti and meatballs were incredible)! All of Chef Nick's food was sourced locally and of the highest quality. Everything was excellent but the Wagyu Tri Tip Roast absolutely stole the show! Hands down would book again. Thanks Chef Nick for an awesome evening!

They catered our Thanksgiving this year (and the night after) and all of the food was incredible. Highlights from Thanksgiving: the turkey (and the GRAVY) and the stuffing and sweet potatoes. The next evening they cooked us homemade cacio e pepe with shrimp and wagyu beef was cooked perfectly.

Everything Chef Nick prepared during our weeklong trip was fantastic, from breakfast each day to a special dinner with wine pairing. Nick was fabulous! We loved having him as our Private Chef for our corporate retreat. He made things very easy for us to focus on work as he made us breakfast (fruit and cheese board; gluten free poblano, bacon, and potato quiche; biscuits & sausage gravy; avocado toast with micro greens and balsamic reduction) … lunch (THE BEST marinated portobello mushrooms and red peppers, chimichurri and baba ganoush sandwiches; rotisserie chicken and cheese with balsamic on grilled ciabatta sandwiches; and kale salad with walnuts, apples, goat cheese)… and dinner (heirloom tomatoes/buratta bruschetta; salad; wagyu beef, chimichurri, steak fries, and sweet & sour carrots) … plus an incredible dessert (chocolate bourbon pecan pie with whipped cream).
